HP Notebook - 15-da0077tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently, I purchased Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 SSD for my HP da-0077tx laptop. I want dual storage and I want to boot up my windows from SSD. So I fresh install windows in SSD. After that, I am trying to set boot priority to SSD in BIOS setting.  But SSD only shows in the legacy boot option not show in UEFI os boot order. And if I select SSD from legacy boot option it is not booting up and shows the error that I attached below please help me to fix this issue.

Hi:

There are a few models of HP notebooks where it is normal for the SSD not to appear in the boot menu.

The Windows boot manager determines what drive to boot from and if you retained the 2.5" drive and it has an operating system on it, then the PC will always want to boot from the 2.5" drive first.

What you need to do is to temporarily disconnect the 2.5" drive so the Windows boot manager switches to the M.2 SSD.

Let it run that way for a bit, restart it, make sure it is still working OK, and then you can reconnect the 2.5" drive and use it for storage only.

I tried your trick but it is not worked. Still windows not booting and showing same error.

It doesn't boot from the SSD even with the 2.5" drive removed?

If so unfortunately, I don't know why that would be.
