Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have done all the troubleshooting steps suggested here. Drained the battery, hard reset, uninstalled the battery, checked the battery health, tried many different chargers. I bought the top of the line Spectre X360 directly from HP to avoid these problems.   I bought it two years ago, and it was working great until it just stopped charging. I'm very dismayed to learn that this is a common problem--i.e. burned capacitor, bad motherboard.  I see that some people have been able to get it fixed by HP.  What can I do? Thank you.

@CatBass I understand your concern and I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

I am trying to respond to HP and I keep getting the message that authentification failed, that there is a mismatch? What now.
