Ctrl+alt+del, go to task manager, under file run New task. Type in MSCONFIG. Opens system configuration. Select boot. Uncheck safe boot box. Apply. Ok. Will ask to restart, select no. Then, pc settings, recovery and the rest of the steps from my last post. 😃

While in safe mode, we uninstalled a program we suspected to be the source of our problems. Can't say for sure that it was or, that it had anything to do with our ability to system restore but, it was worth a shot. If you can think of any changes you made prior and undo them, I suggest making the attempt. My husband stepped out for a moment but, when he gets back I will tell him your issue and see if he has any thing to add and reply. Hang in there!

Ok, husband is wondering if you restarted after exiting safe mode? If you did, don't do that. Follow our steps without restarting and see if that works for you. If not, we're not sure what to do and wonder if you have a different issue with your computer. If I come across any helpful information I will post it here. Hopefully someone else can chime in with ideas to help or, you're able to puzzle it out on your own. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
