Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My cat stepped on my computer and I do not know what she did but ever since then it keep saying selected boot image not found I also went to hp on YouTube and followed the steps to System boot mode and I cannot see the four digit number what do I do now

You would need to press F10 repeatedly while rebooting to get into your BIOS/UEFI settings.

 

Once there, find the menu for boot options and see what is the default.  This message means the default is set improperly.  You have to set it to the right partition to boot, usually the EUFI System Partion (ESP).  Save that and close,

 

If it was reset properly, the PC will now boot properly.

 

If not, there is nothing we can do from here to access or change the settings, so you will have to take it to a local laptop repair facility and see what they can do for you.
