HP Laptop - 15-dw2025od

I have been having multiple problems throughout owning my HP computer. I have done all the updates on HP support but for some reason when I try to open my settings app it won't load. I don't know what else to do, because my computer says it needs an update, I can't even if I try to create a new account to see if that would help. I ran all the HP analysis and it says everything looks good so I don't know if I have a bug or something. I'm 26 years old so I know how to do most things on a computer, but I can't figure this problem out. I would really appreciate if anyone had any advice or recommendations, thank you!
