Hi,
I loaded my pendrive with Ubuntu 24.04 iso image.
While booting from my pendrive, it is showing an error on boot up.
'Verifying shim SBAT data failed: Security Policy Violation'
I searched the internet and it suggested to disable secure boot.
Is this okay? Can I do it? I haven't tried it yet. Is it safe?
Thanks

if you disable secure boot Windows 11 will not work, follow these steps to install Ubuntu

Thank you for your answer.
But unfortunately, it doesn't work on my HP Omen 16 Laptop.
With 'Secure Boot' enabled, it shows error on startup.

then you must disable the secure boot, then install Ubuntu, enter the terminal and type.
sudo mokutil --set-sbat-policy delete
then enable the secure boot to run Windows 11.
