Hi @ncc1701,
Thank you for your reply.
I would be happy to look for any relevant updates, but require your exact model and your operating system. Please reply back with that information to assist me.There is a link in my previous post to assist you in acquiring your exact model.

The information is all in the discussion I gave you a link to. People, including myself have listed product numbers etc. This isn't a case of novice users not updating their machines. We (those on the linked discussion) have the latest Windows updates installed, the latest drivers from the Support Assistant, have updated the BIOS, have had protracted calls and chats with HP support staff etc.
It's a fault with the x2 range and affects a number of models with the X5-Z8300 chipset. It affects the USB and MicroSD subsystems. If you wish to help further, please do respond on the discussion I linked to as a number of people are trying to get a resolution, as far as I'm aware HP do have a beta BIOS and drivers they are working on.
Thanks

H @ncc1701,
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details. If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works please review this link. First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More

Hi
I've still not heard anything from HP. Please help, we are getting desparate as you can read on the other discussion. Surely it's not too much to ask to have the MicroSD card working as it should, especially on a tablet.
Some kind of response on the discussion I previously linked to will be of at least some help.

I'm still waiting, why is addressing this issue such a problem for HP?
