Spectre x360 - 13" model 13-ac063dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I seem to have similar problems to others with Spectre x360.  System worked fine one day, I shut it down.  Next day, went to start and nothing.  LEDs by USB-C charging ports blinks white slowly when plugged in to power adapter, andLED on power switch will also slowly blink white when plugged in.  I can't tell if the blinking is in synch as the LEDs are on opposite sides of the laptop

Attempted hard reset (hold power button for 15 seconds) with no change; even took bottom panel off, unplugged battery and plugged back in with no change.  Tried a new AC adapter -- no change.

Any ideas?  I seem to have seen some information on defective motherboards.  I've looked and they are quite expensive ($500 and up), I'm hoping another user has an idea, or someone from HP can chime in with a suggestion.

I have tried all the steps noted, and nothing worked.  Is there anything else I can try?  Or can you provide information on how to get this repaired?  Again, I noted others with similar problems I think eventually had to send in their notebook for repair; if that's the case, please let me know how to do so, and if there will be a charge or not.

@scottinboston1 If you've done all that and yet the issue persists, I'm afraid your right about getting it repaired, and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options:

follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, is yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.
