HP 15-f024wm Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)

Opened & pressed keys to "wake it up" & nothing happened. This happened once before - I keep it plugged in, so, I unplugged it & pressed power button until hard reset & it restarted normally. However, this time, pressing power button does nothing - the power button on side slowly blinks & when plugged in, the power cord light is red & flashes white every few seconds. I even took screws out to remove battery, light on side went off but when I replaced battery & pushed power button, it continued flashing white every few seconds. How do I correct this??

To power off, I have to remove back & physically remove battery - pressing & holding power button does nothing. I did this & held powet button for 30 seconds - I then followed instructions from video - there was one beep, so I released buttons & nothing - power button on side flashing every few seconds. I attempted again, starting with powering off & held power button 30 seconds without battery attached, then what video said to do - I continued to hold after the beep - nothing. What else can I do?

Hello @GaBlonde50

Let the battery drain until the notebook switches off completely. Repeat recovery procedure (1) to (5).

Kind regards
