Hello dear,
after BIOS password reset I get a System Board information invalid or missing (00A) error on boot. I did not know, what MPM is, so I restarted notebook 20 times for "Manufacturer Programing Mode" notification skip. Now I know, it was the right point to try "rewrite/repaire" System Board information. I did not find any way to "unlock" MPM again. Any help/tip for me?
model: HP EliteBook 8540p
pn: NU486AV
Thanks.

Hello @mysakmysak .
It is necessary to rewrite the bios of your computer, so you can request the smc.bin file directly with Hp but it will have some cost, or you can take your computer to an authorized service center by Hp so they can do what is necessary for your computer to work properly.
