The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be reboot

Use the F10 key to go into the bios and make sure the date and time are correct.  if necessary press the F9 key to set BIOS defaults.  Then press F10 to exit.  Be sure to save BIOS setting before exiting.

 

How old is this system? Is this the type of laptop that has a battery attached to the back side where it can be undocked?  Those older type of laptops have an internal CMOS battery that might have gone bad.  Recent laptops (in last 10 years?)  are designed with the battery inside and there is no CMOS battery.
