Hello
I just wanted to re-install the Win11 on my HP Envy but the SSD is not recognized by Win11. The SSD is Intel Optane H20 with SSD 512. I have tried to download the driver for Intel RST but still no recognized. Does anyone know how I can fix this? The current OS is working but still slow and that is why I wanted to re-install it.
Thanks

Enter your notebook's serial number in the search window at the link below and it should provide the product number of your specific 13-ba1xxx notebook.
Then enter the product number in the search window at the link below and see if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.
You have to enter the # and 3 characters that represent the country the notebook is sold for use in.
If the product number of the notebook is sold for use in the USA, you would need to enter the product number and #ABA, for example: 50V32UA#ABA
If the notebook is supported, use the HP cloud recovery tool on another Windows PC to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will put the drive to the notebook's 'out of the box' condition.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft store:
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
Since you have to use the utility on another PC, the tool can't detect your notebook's product number which is uses to select the correct factory image from the cloud recovery tool database, you have to manually enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed.

Hi:
What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
If it came with Windows from HP, it should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool and that should have the drivers included in the factory image for Windows to find the drive.

Yes, I have tried this and others from HP website and Intel website, but none of the work. It still does not bring the drivers if I did not uncheck the "Hide compatible ...". I have never seen this during Windows installation.
Thanks

Yes, you are one of the few folks I have come across where nothing works.
Don't lose or format that recovery drive.
After 5 years, HP withdraws support for the HP cloud recovery tool, and since you tried all sorts of IRST drivers with no success, you would be out of luck.
I don't know why after 4 years that Intel and Microsoft have not collaborated to incorporate the storage controller drivers into the W10/W11 ISO files/USB installation flash drives.
We have gone back to the early 2000's with AHCI and XP operating systems when trying to install XP.
This is progress???
