Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's update the BIOS: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629

Also, update the graphics driver: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

Well i have checked on the hp support assistant that there are no updates for bios or graphics card i will try to update graphics card using device manager but what to do about bios?

HP Recommended

Let's manually update the BIOS:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99001-99500/sp99036.exe

Also, the chipset drivers: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-15-ab200-Notebook-PC-series-%28Touch%29...

but the problem with manual bios update is if the laptop shutdowns or hibernates during bios update what to do at that time?

i have already updated graphics card driver it didn't help in situation i will try chipset.

How soon after booting up the Notebook does it give Thermal Shutdown?

Meantime please try the chipset Update too

Also run an extensive System Test and let me know if the Notebook shuts down during the Test

- Shut down the Notebook completely
- Turn it back on, then tap the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup menu screen is displayed.
- Press F2 to select System Diagnostics.
- Click System Tests, then click Extensive Test.

Thank you

Well normally it hibernates in like 15 minutes but turns on the first time i start and sometimes it stays for like 8-10 hours until i turn it off, i will try to run extensive test from bios and update the chipset.but my assumption is it will turn of while extensive test.

If it turns OFF during the Extensive Test then it would be a Hardware issue

Keep me posted

it sometimes doesn't turn on it's like when the esc to menu or HP logo pops up it suddenly shutsdown with some kind of beep and if you say hardware issue does it really have an fan issue or what type of hardware issue?

HP Recommended

The fate of the device and the answer to your question depends on whether or not your computer turns off when you are on the hardware diagnostics screen (f2) and the computer turns off during the test?

Please help me, help you 🙂
