Thermal Shutdown issue

Well i had my laptop check locally through one of my acquaintance and he told me that the processor on the motherboard had been short-circuited and when i got it back i tried to open heat-sink and reapplied the thermal paste and i not start more than normal but caps lock light kept blinking three times

Yes you are going in the right direction on that case. Eventually, the device will go for a repair for thermal issue.
