HP EliteBook 840 G1 Notebook PC

I have a HP EliteBook 840 G1 that is set to UEFI (non-CSM) mode. It has Windows 10 installed in UEFI mode. It will not boot a GPT Linux iso I wrote using Rufus. This USB drive works fine in my HP desktop with the same BIOS settings, but it doesn't recognise the USB in the boot menu. The boot menu simply shows "OS Boot Manager" and network boot options

Secure Boot and Fast Boot are disabled, USB booting is enabled. The BIOS is up to date

Am I doing something wrong? Why doesn't the USB show up in the Boot Menu?
