I updated the UEFI and checked for the component test, but it is not available again. Then I checked the drivers for my PC from the link below. There is a BIOS update in there.

I applied the BIOS update. Now usb ports are working without any problems when notebook is plugged in and on battery power.

Also I checked for the component test. I am able to perform usb port test after updating BIOS. Result of the component test is passed.

@osen You may need to create a backup of your data into an external/online storage device and perform a system reset as the tests confirm this isn't a hardware malfunction but a software issue that needs a reset: click here for steps.
