HP OmniBook X Flip 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop Next Gen AI PC 14-fk0000 (AK5G3AV)
Linux

This issue has been asked many times (here and here), and each time the support representative asks to transfer to a private chat, so I suppose I am also here to do that in order to use secure boot on a non-windows installation. Or we can do the back-and-forth about Microsoft's explicit Windows certification requirements first, up to you...

Thanks for responding, mr. AI. Anyways, if someone else comes across this issue, the solution is surprisingly simple. Secure Boot setup mode is automatically enabled on the next boot after clearing all secure boot keys in BIOS, even though there is no external indication that this is the case. Note also that this behaviour may depend on if your PC is a professional or client model, and the BIOS version.

Also, do not delete your Secure Boot keys unless you know what you're doing.

And dear mr. AI, I attached my precise PC model in the post, and referred to the support post you linked to as an answer to how to do this, when to begin with I wrote this post because of reading that one and seeing that it was not publicly resolved (and even link to it myself in my original post!!). You are useless.
