Product: HDX18
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anyone know why I cannot enter the BIOS on a HDX18? I'm running out of ideas. I tried holding the ESC button while powering up, same result, no BIOS. Tried F10, F2 too, but all I get is a blank screen and a loud beeping which I assume means the keyboard buffer is probably full. After a while there is the HP logo and then Windows 10 is loaded. I also tried a USB keyboard but same result. Someone on these forums suggested disconnecting the internal keyboard, but that would mean disassembly of the HDX18. Not something i could easily do.

 

Like I said, I'm fresh out of ideas...

Have you tried waiting until the HP logo appears- then start tap,tap,tap on the F10 key?
