Hp Notebook 15-ba085ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I tried to turn on the Wake on Lan function. Right now it only works when the notebook is in standby. Not when it is shut down. According to the settings from the network card it supports wake on lan when the pc is shut down. But my BIOS has no option to enable Wake on Lan. It hans't even a power menu.

I already activated the free check boxes in the energy options from the network card. I also enabled the magic packet things in the extend menu.

Can someone help?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

HP Consumer Pc’s uses a customized BIOS setting (Tattooed BIOS) of which some features including overclocking, Wake on Lan and increasing the VRAM are locked.

This is done in the best interest of safeguarding the PC for the optimal performance and not to cause any extensive component failure.

So you do not have the option in BIOS

Thank you

Thanks for the reply.

Can i get a different bios where Wake on Lan is not locked?

Or is that not possible?

Unfortunately that would not be possible 🙂
