Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Laptop has been in and out of the pawn shop for a bit. I have it back now, but at some point someone or something put a password on the bios. I can access everything BUT the bios which gives error "i 85019969" then saying system disabled. But I reboot and can go back to my OS. I keep going in circles on the links to get to a solution or see about getting a real support person to address issue. Does anyone either know how to reset or the link to get to support pay or not to solve this?

There is no link because there is no way you can reset it.

For BIOS or power-on password resets, because the password is encoded onto a chip on the motherboard, replacement of that motherboard is required. HP does not reset the BIOS password on the current motherboard.

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard, you would have to take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- but we can not assist in that in any way.
