I try 'all' the settings but my laptop always boot from inside HD.

I want to delete the recovery partition and I have make a bootable USB-stick with a partitionmanager.

Thanks

Thanks, but that was the first I did.

Now I used an other USB-slot, on the right side, and it works. 🙂

Thanks again

Hi:

See if this works...go into the BIOS.

Enable legacy mode/disable secure boot.

Save the settings.

Have the flash drive in the PC.

Restart the PC and tap the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu, and from that, select the USB flash drive, and press the Enter key.

The PC should boot from the USB flash drive.

You're very welcome.

Glad you were able to get the notebook to boot from the USB flash drive.

Some models will only boot from the USB 2 port.
