Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The function keys F7, F8, F9 which are shared with hardware commands function in programs suddenly only by pressing them together with the fn-key. I was told that this could be adjusted with the options in BIOS under "Media Keys/Function keys". I could not find the suggested place in BIOS. Where and how do I have to change the required option that the programs can use the function keys without pressing also the fn-key? Thanks for your help.
