Hello,
Can anyone help me to identify which wifi card (5GHz and bluetooth 4.2) can buy to install on my Presario CQ56-210EE? The old Wifi card was broken and should be replaced, but I prefer to upgrade to a 5ghz and bluetooth 4. or higher.
So can you help me to identify which wifi card can I buy?
Thanks in advance.

Hi:
Your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which prevents any model Wi-Fi card from working other than the one your notebook originally came with.
Your only option for dual band Wi-Fi/Bluetooth would be to purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter.
I use this one on one of my HP desktop PC's which I needed to connect via Wi-Fi:

Hello dear Paul,
Thank for your reply,
I just found the original one same as installed in the laptop, on Ali Express Ralink RT3090BC4 with Bluetooth 3.
I found another one with bluetooth 4.0 BCM94313HMGB (The seller told me it works). So do you think the second one can works as the seller told? I need to upgrade to bluetooth 4 more than the wifi because I need to pair earbuds on the laptop. So it will works?
The first one (The original one same as installed in the notebook):

The second one:

Thanks very much.

You're very welcome.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
As I first replied, I do not believe that any other model card that is not the same model/HP part number as the one your notebook has now, will work.
The service manual lists all of the available Wi-Fi cards that HP installed in the different model variations of the CQ56,
None of the cards listed in the manual have BT 4.0, so it is almost a sure thing that the BCM94313HMGB BT 4.0 card will not work.

Thanks for your time Dear Paul,
So if I will buy the original one RT3090BC4 with Bluetooth 3.0 and replace with the broken one, it will works yes?
And when I install the new one, can I buy the USB external adapter (Bluetooth 4.2) that you adviced me to buy, so the internal and external work together? I need the external only for the Bluetooth 4.2.
Thanks

You're very welcome.
If you don't need external Wi-Fi, then you just need a USB BT adapter.
You may as well get a BT 5.0 adapter.
The RT3090BC4 must have the same part number on the 'Replace with HP Spare' label as the original one, or it will not work.

Hello dear Paul,
I need to change the Wifi card and the keyboard on my Compaq Presario CQ56-210E3, because the keyboard and the wifi card (Ralink RT3090BC4 802.11b/g/n spare part number 602992-001) are broken.
So if I need to change the wifi card and the keyboard, can I change for new items with different spare parts included in the laptop manual?
For exemple: Can I change the wifi card from Ralink RT3090BC4 802.11b/g/n spare part number 602992-001 to Realtek RTL8191SE spare part number number 593533-001?
Also, can I change the keyboard from spare part number 595199-171 to 595199-B31?
They will work if the spare number listed in the laptop manual, or are they bios whitelisted?
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi, Ramy:
I do not believe that a different card even if it is listed in the service manual, will work.
All I can say is that if you can buy one on Alie Express cheaply, then it may be worth the gamble.
Keyboard:
The parts list below shows the list of notebooks the keyboard you want to buy is used in.
If you think that will do the trick, there should be no whitelist to prevent the KB from working.
