My laptop recently had water spilled on it, it instantaneously shut down. I pulled the back off and removed the battery as quickly and gently as possible, dabbed any wet spots dry, surprisingly, not much water penetrated the keyboard to the motherboard. I laid it sideways for 2 days with the back and battery still off to let it air dry. The end of the second day, I replaced the battery and the cover and plugged it in. Immediately seen the power led light did not come on, so waiting 20 minutes to let it charge, still no light. I unplugged it, tried a different power cord, same thing. I then replaced the battery with a brand new one and still had the same results. So I unplugged the laptop, removed the battery and left it alone for almost 2 weeks now. I put the original battery back in, plugged in the power cord, the power led came on, red in color, so I waited 15 minutes and held down the power button to power it on, I did hear the cooling fan start, and then the led power light flashed from orange to white and back to orange. I then switched to the new battery, no led power light, but the power led flashes white 3 times and the cooling fan still turns on for about 3 seconds. I did try plugging into my tv to check if it's the screen but still nothing and neither the original or new battery are swelled. PLEASE HELP! This whole thing is making me crazy! Thank you very much in advance!
