Whenever I have an audio CD in and power on my computer it won't boot.  It gives me an error code stating the hard drive is bad and to run a diagnostic to see if it is OK.  If I remove the CD and try again it boots normally.  I have tried reordering the boot order in the BIOS to have the CD lower than the hard drive but that doesn't make any difference.  How can I fix this problem?

Am I the only one out there that is having this problem?  Surely someone else has seen this.
