When using power-on authentication saved fingerprints are no longer recognised and I have to rely on password only. These were originally set after purchase around a year ago. I have tried to reset these in the bios but with no success. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Synaptics VFS7552 drivers again with no success. I know it is a security issue but surely there must be a way of having a password and resetting a fingerprint reader.

Solved by factory reset in bios and then reregistered with hp client security. Luckily I had my password.
