even i turn off the laptop , the battery gone drained as well. what is the main problem ?

That is really surprising.

I would ask you to contact HP in your region directly in this case and identify the issue since it's only 3 months after purchasing.

Hi,


Usually battery being a chemical degrades as time passes even though it is not actively used.

Very fast drain can be indicative of failing battery.

What is the age of it? 2-4 years is the average life time.

If you keep notebook shut down (not sleep/hibernate) for 1 day, what is drain% you're experiencing?

it drained from 100% to 0% after 5 hours.... even you shut it down.
