@vbarki, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Despite a low cycle count (which suggests minimal wear), the battery is reporting a failure via HP's diagnostics tool. This is because:

The failure ID is generated when HP Hardware Diagnostics detects a hardware-level problem, like internal cell failure or charging circuitry issues.

HP systems use SMART-style battery health monitoring, so a reported failure is not just a software misread.

Should You Continue Using It?

Until replaced:

Keep using your laptop plugged in.

You can turn on Battery Saver to reduce wear.

Avoid letting it fully discharge, as damaged batteries can degrade more quickly or even become unstable.

You can purchase an official HP replacement battery from HP Parts Store.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
