@ORZANE

HP distributes their BIOS updates in files know as softpaqs -- which are self-extracting archives.  They do not distribute the .bin files individually.

If you download the file to a working Windows PC, you can use the 7-Zip utility to extract the components -- including the .bin file.

Hello

 a way to downalod the bin file is this:

download and install HP Client Management Script Library:

https://hpia.hpcloud.hp.com/downloads/cmsl/hp-cmsl-1.6.2.exe

then open a powershell Windows and execute:

set-executionpolicy -executionpolicy remotesigned

Get-HPDeviceDetails -like 820    (you will see that 820 G1 has 1991 as platfrom SysID)

Get-HPBIOSUpdates -platform 1991   (this will show all BIN fiel for several versions)

Get-HPBIOSUpdates -platform 1991 -download L71_0149.bin  (to download version 1.49)

bye
