Product: HP ProBook 640 G1 Base Model Notebook PC

as the title states, i bought this laptop from a school in 2015 and i wanted to change os on it but the bios were locked by some secure lock or whatever, i cant contact the school because they have shutdown so i dont know what to do, i cant boot from a usb because of the bios boot lock, does anyone know what to do? i read that you can jump the cmos battery but i dont know.
