I have a hp compaq 6730b laptop, how do clear and reset the bios password

@lenesha -- if you know the current password, enter BIOS SETUP, and change the password.

You could just press RETURN in the "new password" field, to set a "null" password.

 

If you do not know the password, then the ONLY people that may help you are the HP Support employees.
