I have a HP Pavilion 15-e045ex laptop. It worked fine until today, when a new update for the bios (F.27 Rev.A) became available.
I downloaded the update and restarted the laptop to begin updating. and now it's stuck!!! It keeps loading the bios update screen and copying the bios files and verifying them normaly. when it restarts, instead of loading the system, it repeats the bios update again and again !! It does not give any errors during updating process, yet it some how repeats it endlessly. Can any one help me out of this mess?!!
thanks in advance

Hey @Mohamed_Sameh19,
Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I hope you find what you're seeking her.e
I understand that your HP Pavilion 15-e045ex Notebook PC is stuck in a failed BIOS update loop. I would like to assist you with this.
The issue may lie with the BIOS version being designed for Windows 8.1 while you're using Windows 10. (Your PC has no HP-tested Windows 10 drivers available, which means HP can't guarantee your setup will function in this OS version.)
I recommend you try a hard reset first. Assuming that won't fix it, try restoring the BIOS as directed here.
Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post. If I have helped you resolve the issue and you liked this post, feel free to give me virtual props by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below and accepting this solution.

Thanks for your help.I appreciate it so much, but unfortunatly it didn't solve the problem. I tried hard resetting, bios recovery from the laptop and from an external source and the same problem keeps happening. Every time I open the laptop, it goes automaticaly into bios recovery window nd copys the bios files. then it restarts and enters the bios recovery
window again and again in an endless cycle!! any other suggestions?
Have a great day

You're most welcome,
There are two other fixes that I'm aware of. See if you can perform a system restore. Follow the steps under the 'When Windows won't start normally' heading here.
Beyond that, if you happen to have created recovery media in the past when everything was working, you could try an HP system recovery. Accessing the menu to get that rolling is the same as the system restore (where you restart and immediately tap F11). The full process is documented here.
Best of luck,

Thanks so much for the support and quick response. Unfortunatly, that did not help me either!! I have previously created a restore point for the system and tried system recoverey first, but it does not respond to F11 pushing and keeps entering bios recovery anyway, no matter what I do. I don't know what to do!!
Thanks anyway for your help.
