boot device not found and CD not detected

I was having a lot of issues with my laptop so I thought it's finally the time start from scratch. So without knowing anything about it, I "secure erased" from the F-10 option in the bios. I did not know that it uninstalls your windows too? at least that's what happened to me. I was planning on it too so that's not the problem. Problem is that, I have a windows CD but even with legacy mode and CD rom as the top priority, it won't show that in boot options (F9) I've tried almost everything but everytime there's no option for CD rom boot

First of all, Windows 10 does not come on a CD -- it is far too large for that. IF it is on an optical disk, that is a DVD, not a CD.

Second, if the PC came with UEFI as default, then Secure Boot was probably also enabled.  You need to check your UEFI settings to ensure that NOW, it is disabled.

Third, try booting the Win10 DVD in another PC to confirm that it boots.

yeah my bad I just realized that I wrote CD. it is a dvd and I'm sure there's no uefi secure boot enabled for my laptop I just can't boot it from the dvd. Yes I'm sure the dvd works as well

We have no access to your PC, so there are no tests we can run to check anything.  IF, as I suggested, you tried this same DVD in another PC and it booted OK, that means the optical drive in your laptop will not read the DVD properly -- and apart from replacing that drive, there is nothing you can do to make the DVD work.

If you have a PC that WILL read the DVD, then get an 8BG USB stick, plug it into the second PC and copy ALL the files and directories from the DVD to the USB stick.

Then insert that stick into your laptop and see if it will boot from it.

I just tried it with a bootable usb I have and it doesn't read that as well. the only options I have in the boot menu are "notebook upgrade bay", "notebook hard disk" and "notebook ethernet" does that mean there's something wrong with my ports or some hardware fault?

That implies that the USB port(s) are bad, so you can't use a USB stick.

You would have to take this to a local laptop service facility to see if they can do anything for you.
