it's an HP products # n5y05ua and I've simply forgotten my password. Its been almost a year since I've used it. None of my written down passwords are working. I don't want to lose any info. My husband passed away and there are pics and important videos on it. Plus all my college work. Isn't there a simple way to get into my laptop? It doesn't give me any questioning options. Just wants a flash drive. I've tried that it says no. Please help! Someone

We are not permitted to assist in resetting passwords because HP considers that a violation of customer privacy. HP can assist in resetting passwords but if your original warranty has expired, they will charge you for the assistance.

For Admin password resets, you have to contact your regional HP Customer Support location directly for assistance.
