Device purchased from other than HP
My opinion:
Retailers are independent operations, even an authorized reseller who sell a particular brand of device.
Ideas
- If you are having trouble with a merchant, check the retailer's online policies first.
- If there is such, complain to the merchant's customer service department.
- If the product is within the store's return period and the return policy allows it, return the product to the store for a refund.
- If that does not work, check with your local consumer protection agencies to see whether there is any recourse.
