@Anarchy1 -- either the disk-drive is not getting any power, or the data-cable is not connected to the disk-drive, or the disk-drive has failed, and needs to be replaced.

With the computer powered-off:

  1. repeatedly tap the ESC key;
  2. while doing so, tap the on/off button, to power-on the computer;
  3. when you see a "menu", is one of the items the HP Hardware Diagnostic?
  4. if so, launch that diagnostic, and select to run the test against your disk-drive.

Does it report that your disk-drive is both "detected" and "OK", or does it report "no disk found" ?
