Having lockup issues when on websites. especially when left unattended for a few minutes. ran diognostics and received a Failure ID 6FX6J8-7J18BB-XD7V6K-60QE03. How do I find out what this means and what to do about it. LAptop is less than 2 years old and upgrades to Microsoft 10 a few month ago.

I used to spend my Saturdays volunteering time at a local computer store that did exactly that kind of thing. That store was the kind you find in most towns, in a strip mall. Would have charged the cost of the drive, maybe $60-80 depending on size and speed and then about $100 +/- for reinstallation of Windows and transfer of available data off the old hard drive, if possible, so all in just under $200.
If you let us help you, you would save the $100 +/- and be able to do it for the cost of the hard drive. At $200 I might be on the fence vs. a new laptop. At $60 it is a no brainer to replace the drive.
It would be a shame to throw away the old laptop. Send it to me and I will fix it and donate to charity and send your data back to you. Just kidding. Would not be appropriate for me to do that. Good luck.

It means the hard drive must be replaced. Do you have an extended warranty? If not this is going to be something you need to arrange yourself and we can help with selection of a drive, installation instructions, maybe even a video and help reinstalling software.
