What caused the problem in the first place?
Power glitch?
Microsoft or HP update? Add a new device, memory, etc?
There is a list of LED or BEEP codes here. Do any match what you see?
Check the A/C charging LED
● White: The AC adapter is connected and the battery is charged.
● Amber: The AC adapter is connected and the battery is charging.
● Off: The computer is using DC power.
If you do not see the LED charging possibly the charger is bad.
Hold down the power on for 30 seconds then try to turn on.
