@Zilla75 Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP ENVY 16 inch Laptop PC
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP Envy 16 isn't powering on, but the charging light is white, which usually indicates the battery is charged. Try these troubleshooting steps:

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Disconnect the charger.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the charger and try turning it on.

Check for Power Issues

  • Try using a different power outlet.
  • If possible, test with another compatible charger.

Check for Display Issues

  • Press the Caps Lock key. If the light turns on, the laptop is on but the display might not be working.
  • Try connecting an external monitor to check if the display is the issue.

Look for LED/Blink Codes

  • If the power button or any LED blinks in a pattern, note it. HP laptops use blink codes to indicate hardware issues.

Remove External Devices

  • Disconnect all USB drives, external monitors, or peripherals and try turning the laptop on again.

Let me know if these help!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
