i launched fortnite and my laptop screen went black. it would't respond.

i installed and launched fornite. It didnn't launched and my laptop screen went black. it wouldn't respond . the keyboard light was still on. i had to shut it down by long pressing power button and the turn it on again. could someone help with why it happened and should i be worried?
