Hello wonder if anyone can help.
I have a HP Pavillion 360 that refuses to boot. This laptop was being used and folded the screen shut that sent it in suspend mode. Came back to it later and the screen is blank and the caps lock is flashing 3 times slow 5 times quick.
These flash codes are noot listed in the hp error code list.
Things that I have tried so far - hard reset - cant get this to work (holding down power button for a minute then pressing F11)
Took the keyboard out and pulled the battery (not easy) then held power button.
Reconnected battery - still the same.
HP support want £35.00 to diagnose and laptop is just out of warranty (checked before I dismantled it).
Dont want to pay £35.00 for someone from a call centre to tell me that it is u/s and cant be fixed.
Not impressed paid £600.00 for it new and barely lasted longer than a year. you shouldnt have to pay for support from a manufacturer for hardware problems.
Typing this on a 8 year old DELL.
Sorry for the Rant.

Hey thanks.
I had nothing to lose so i pressed F2 and the diagnostic screen came up. Ran the diagnostics and no fault found. Exited the diagnostic screen and the laptop booted into win 10 like nothing has ever happened.
Nowhere where I have searched mentions this menu when you press F2. There is talk of making a bootstick with files on etc.
Im not sure if this is proper fixed but it gives me a chance to get my business files and invoices off this thing so I can go and buy a proper laptop with people that will support you (service tag etc).
Thanks .
