Hey David i know its been some time but i fixed the issue, it was the charger which was the issue all along, so what did i do? well i got an AC adapter for a Cannon Selphy printer which is rated 24v and i cut the head and placed my charger head into it, plugged it and viola, the laptop is now running perfectly.
