@saifu123, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Since the power button is blinking and there's no charger light, that usually points to one of these problems:

Basic Checks First:

  1. Remove External Devices
    • Disconnect USB drives, external monitors, and other accessories.
  2. Perform a Hard Reset (try this first)
    • If the battery is non-removable:
      • Unplug the charger.
      • Press and hold the power button for 15-30 seconds.
      • Then, plug in the charger and try turning it on.
    • If the battery is removable:
      • Remove the battery and AC adapter.
      • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
      • Reconnect the battery and charger, then turn it on.

Check the Charger and Port

  • Use a different compatible charger if available.
  • Examine the DC-in port for looseness or damage.
  • Check the charger’s LED (if present). If it doesn’t light up on any laptop, the charger may be dead.

If Still Not Working: Try These

  1. BIOS Recovery Attempt
    • Turn off the laptop.
    • Press and hold the Windows + B keys, then press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds.
    • Release the power button but keep holding Windows + B for 10-15 seconds.
    • If BIOS recovery works, you’ll hear beeps or see a screen light up.
  2. Inspect for Short Circuits
    • If the laptop stopped working suddenly after a power outage or update, there might be a motherboard or power rail issue.

If Nothing Works...

Given that:

  • No charging light shows up
  • Power button blinks but no display or fan activity
  • It's not responding to hard reset or BIOS recovery

Then you’re likely dealing with:

  • Motherboard failure
  • Faulty DC-in board or charging circuit
  • RAM or other replaceable component error (depending on blink code)

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hello Saifu123. I have recently had a similar issue. The issue with mine was the motherboard was water damaged and fried. I would check around the motherboard for seemingly burnt areas, but this may be a different issue.

Have a great day!
