Hi @AdityaKumar1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing slow performance with your HP Laptop 15s-du3xxx. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

Check for Software Updates:

Free Up Space:

  • Low disk space can cause your computer to slow down. Clean up unnecessary files by using tools like Disk Cleanup or third-party software.

Check Startup Programs:

  • Too many programs launching at startup can slow down your PC. Go to Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) -> Startup tab, and disable unnecessary startup programs.

Scan for Malware:

  • Use antivirus software to scan your system for malware, which can often cause performance issues.

Adjust Graphics and Performance Settings:

  • Adjust graphics and performance settings under System -> Advanced system settings -> Performance Settings.

Optimise Browser:

  • If browsers are slow, clearing cache, cookies, and adjusting extensions can help optimise performance.

Check for Errors:

  • Run a system file check and check the disk for errors using Command Prompt:
    • sfc /scannow
    • chkdsk /f /r

      I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
