Example: Pavilion G7
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Was working fine until total shut down when connecting wrong charger by mistake. Almost like static discharge in speed action.

No burning etc. Wish to send to HP and need instructions how to proceed

Connecting the wrong charger can damage the charging circuit in the system board or simply burn out components on it -- and if that happened, it is unlikely that HP will fix that because that is Accidental Damage and that is not covered under the warranty.

But this is just self-help Community staffed mostly by volunteers and we are not authorized to deal with warranty, service or equipment replacement issues.  For these issues, you will need to contact HP Customer Support.

HP does not provide links for phone support in the US because of Scammers that were harvesting those numbers, calling customers, and charging them money for services they did not need.

To get a phone number, you have to go to the HP site listed below, create a support case, and after that, HP will provide contact information, possibly including a phone number. That link is not going to let you create a support ticket if your warranty has expired.

I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
