Please Help!
Laptop has always worked fine. Updated the Bios to latest ver F.71 last month and has been fine. Decided to install mSata SSD cache to allow HDD to boot up faster. After that Windows did not boot properly, Windows automatic recovery tried but failed. Went into Bios F10 key, disabled secure boot, enabled Intel RST and enabled legacy support. Could now see Intel RST flash on screen at boot up for the mSata and HDD. Looked fine. (also Ctrl-I would display the drives). Went back into Bios and re-enabled secure boot and disabled legacy support. Windows 10 still not bootiing up correctly automatic repair attempted failed. Chose on the Windows recovery screen "boot from usb/dvd device" and put in my dvd HP recovery disk. The system did not boot from the recovery. Powered down the laptop. The screen is now always black (no video or test whatsoever on screen) and can not get into Bios with F10 key.
Troubleshooting attempted:
Tried to boot computer after all these tasks.
removed mSata (left this out - not putting back in)
cleared RTC by removing the battery connection
Hard reset the computer
removed memory modules and tried swapping or using one
Bios recovery using usb flash
removed HDD ... now back in
removed WiFi card - now back in
removed laptop battery
other startup key presses , esc, F1, f9, f11
Summary: power turns on, fan spins up and stops, black screen, WiFi LED on orange, no other leds on or flashing (ie no caps lock leds)

From doing some research online, it seems like this be what I need to do for a fix, but I need instructions on how to do this. Please, can anyone help?
Create a bootable UEFI enabled USB drive with a GPT partition, using the Rufus software.
The UEFI bios is not accessable with ESC key press. Nor the normal bios via F10. I think when I selected to boot from a dvd/usb in the middle of the Windows 10 being in recovery, that I locked myself out. Bios should be in default settings as I removed the RTC battery connection.

So replaced the motherboard, reused cpu. All is working again. So somehow the mSata installed in my system caused the failure. I do have 16GB of ram and now thinking possibly the additional power draw caused the hardware failure.
