Hi @Vishnu72,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing an issue where your NVMe SSD is not being detected on your HP 14s-dq2649TU notebook. I'd be happy to assist you.

Please Try the Following Steps

1. Check BIOS for SSD Detection

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Power it on and immediately press Esc, then F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
  3. Navigate to the Storage or System Information section.
    • Check if the NVMe drive is listed under storage devices.

If not detected in BIOS, it could indicate a connection or compatibility issue.

2. Check with HP PC Hardware Diagnostics:

Extensive Test -

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

4. Click Extensive Test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
