i brought my laptop back in June 2022 and it was working perfectly until the other day. i turned my laptop on and after about ten minutes it completely turned off. i tried turning it back on again but the power light only blinks once and then turns off. i thought that maybe the power died so i put it on charge and the charge light was on and was orange. i then waited until the laptop was fully charge and the charge light was white but it was still only blinking once and i am still unable to turn my laptop on. I am in great need as i use this laptop for college homework and i have to revise from all my notes as it’s coming to the end of college soon. if you have any suggestions please help me.

Hi @kayla102
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Follow these steps and see if that makes any difference.
POWER DRAIN:
Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.
CBR:
Press windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.
If it does not work, then it could be a hardware issue.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
