Hi,
On some Models, you can disable the audible tone for a power on password by setting the 'Post Hotkey Dispaly' setting in the bios menu to Zero.
The option can be found by booting into the bios menu, selecting the System Configuration tab, then expanding the Boot Options Menu. When done, press f10 and select to save the changes.
