Hi @sreekanth5678,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

When you see “There is no power option available” on your HP 15s laptop running Windows 11, it usually means the Power service or related system settings are corrupted or disabled. Let’s fix this step by step:

1. Restart Power Service

  1. Press Windows + R, type: services.msc
  2. Find Power in the list.
  3. Right-click → Start (or Restart if running).
  4. Set Startup type to Automatic.

2. Restore Power Options

  1. Open Command Prompt (Admin): powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

This resets all power plans to default.

3. Check Group Policy (if available)

  1. Press Windows + R, type: gpedit.msc
  2. Navigate to: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Start Menu and Taskbar
  3. Ensure that removing and preventing access to the Shut Down, Restart, Sleep, and Hibernate commands is Not Configured.

4. Repair System Files

Run these commands in Command Prompt (Admin)
         sfc /scannow
         DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

5. BIOS Restore:

  • Shut down the computer, keep the charger plugged in
  • Hold down the Windows and B buttons together while the computer is still turned off.
  • Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B buttons until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and click on OK.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
